Who would have thought when two teammates played their last MTW game together in summer 2012 would be back together 5 years later in Regina at the 2017 CFL National Combine trying to impress CFL scouts and land a contract to play football for a living! Well its happening March 23-25 at Evraz Place in Regina where players will undergo medical examinations, performance, strength and speed tests, on-field football drills and team interviews over the three day combine in front of general managers, coaches and scouts from all teams. The top players eligible for the upcoming 2017 CFL Draft, as ranked collectively by the teams and the league office, are invited to attend the national CFL Combine presented by Adidas.

While Fab has been on the CFL/NFL radar for a few months now, Malcolm blew away the competition at the regional combine where amongst the 132

players who participated across Canada Malcolm finished #1 or #2 in three of the six measurable’s and #5 in two tests. Amongst receivers he was #1 in half the tests, #2 and #3 in two others. He wants to improve his performance in the bench but that measurable is almost insignificant for a receiver. That number is about as important as the 40 time is to an offensive tackle! It was what many would call THE best performance in 2017 across all the combines.
