Once a Wildcat…! MTWFC is thrilled to announce our new junior varsity head coach for at least 2017 and 2018. Dominick Devastey is a native of Austin Texas where as a three sport athlete he received a full football scholarship to play receiver for the University of Kentucky Wildcats and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.

After returning to Texas he coached with the Judson Rockets and won to back-to-back TYFA  State Championships.

He then met his wife, a Canadian, moved to Toronto and is currently a teacher at Metro Prep where he teaches all business and math related courses – Economics, Accounting, Business, and Math  –  at the high school level, in addition to successfully coaching the senior boys basketball team.

But football is his #1 so in early 2015, he co-founded Texas 7’s football where teams can compete in Texas style touch 7-on-7 tournaments.
